Familiarity could be part of the reason Tosh retained him as ILB coach.
One interesting tidbits I didn't know until today. After getting fired from Furd, he coached football in Paris. That's the most stereotypical gap year ever (technically less than a year).

I don't recall ONE Bob Gregory sighting or mention during any broadcast. He was our DC for 7-8 years, 20 years ago!

2 years ago we were too cheap to have an offensive line coach or a special teams coach. Times are a changing for the better
