Cal Men's Basketball: Coach Mark Fox secures commitment of local star
He's a good one
2021 4-star SG Marsalis Roberson committed to the Bears on Thursday. The standout shooting guard is from Bishop O’Dowd in Oakland, CA. Roberson is listed at 6-foot-5 and 180 lbs. He is a quick guard with some explosive verticality.
Cal has gotten some solid star power from Bishop O’Dowd in a variety of sports but the most prevalent come in basketball and football. The Bears recently had players like Asha Thomas, Paris Austin, Ivan Rabb and Monty Bowser all decide to stay local and play for the Bears.
Roberson joins former teammate Monty Bowser on the Cal roster starting the 2021 season.
