Mark Madsen has officially rounded out his staff for Cal Men’s Basketball. Jarred Jackson becomes the 5th member to join the Bears new coaching regime, joining Adam Mazarei, Matt Scherbenske, Amorrow Morgan, and Ken Moses along the bench.
Jackson was an assistant on Madsen’s staff at Utah Valley before departing for Coastal Carolina WBB this past season. He helped develop Cal transfer Fardaws Aimaq while he was at UVU, and helped oversee five players receive all WAC honors for the Wolverines. Before his stop in Orem, Jackson was apart of UT Arlington’s staff and Lander University, where he played basketball and started his coaching career.
"I have seen firsthand Coach Madsen's ability to teach the game at the highest level, develop young men and lead his staff, all while treating everyone with dignity and respect. I'm extremely excited to get to work alongside this amazing staff as we bring Cal back to its winning ways." - Jarred Jackson per the Cal Bears press release
