Back by popular (well, maybe around four people) demand in last week’s game thread, our open thread for any non-Cal football games.
#13 Ole Miss vs. #1 Alabama
Arizona State vs. #24 UCLA
I would like to thank our W4C overlords for this generous gift. You have listens to us feeble peasants and have allowed us to fill our hungry bellies with cake.
So on the game thread we now have to be a paying subscriber to comment? Well, I'm about done with our team so its a good time to say goodbye to WFC as well. Good luck guys.
I would like to thank the mods for putting the second half game thread behind a paywall. They are really doing us a favor here.
Refs giving furd gifts
Wtf gotta pay to do 2nd half chat? Gimme a break
Hey so commenting on the second half thread is locked behind the laid subscription? I know this game sucks but c'mon
Oregon should have kicked that FG rather than going for the TD. I like being aggressive but you have to be smart as well and needing two scores, plus the lack of time left in the half and Oregon gets the 2nd half kickoff I think the smart play is taking the 3 points there.
It's nice to have some Pac12 games while the Sun is still high in the sky.
It appears that Colorado bought our used Toyota Tercel offense and the spare tire finally blew a flat.
I like the trend in college and pro football of going for it on 4th and short. Michigan was 1/2 on their first drives.
Oregon against Stanford. A Stanford win would be downright maddening. An Oregon win and they could be #2 in the country by the time Cal faces them in Eugene.
Christobal should be fired for attempting a pass when furd still had time outs w/ only 2 minutes to play. Fireable offense. Cost the quacks a win and playoff possibility.

Shaw playing the harbaugh playbook with fades to corner of end zone for a
Catch or PI
Weird ducks not even rushing g the qb
My love of Cal is only matched by my hate for Stanford. I just hope Stanford returns to its terrible, after thought of a football program in my lifetime. I need pre Harbaugh Stanford back.
Oregon is overrated
It’s as if the Green Bay Packers have mined all the QB magic out of the state of Wisconsin. The Packers have had 30 years of HOF/elite level QB play, while the Badgers have had average to bad level QB play during that same time.
After watching Wisconsin last season and this season, I have determined I don’t want Wilcox to make us the next Wisconsin. Or perhaps we are Wisconsin now? Or is Wisconsin us?
Georgia is looking great right now, just dominating Arkansas.
If four people liked me in high school, was I popular?
