Oregon should have kicked that FG rather than going for the TD. I like being aggressive but you have to be smart as well and needing two scores, plus the lack of time left in the half and Oregon gets the 2nd half kickoff I think the smart play is taking the 3 points there.
My love of Cal is only matched by my hate for Stanford. I just hope Stanford returns to its terrible, after thought of a football program in my lifetime. I need pre Harbaugh Stanford back.

It’s as if the Green Bay Packers have mined all the QB magic out of the state of Wisconsin. The Packers have had 30 years of HOF/elite level QB play, while the Badgers have had average to bad level QB play during that same time.
After watching Wisconsin last season and this season, I have determined I don’t want Wilcox to make us the next Wisconsin. Or perhaps we are Wisconsin now? Or is Wisconsin us?

I like the trend in college and pro football of going for it on 4th and short. Michigan was 1/2 on their first drives.

The interesting thing also is that they are in the middle of the pack in terms of both offense and defense in the Pac 12 stat rankings.
But they have played some really good teams in Ohio State and Fresno State so they haven’t filled up their stats with empty cupcake yards and points.
