This is one of those things that could easily happen . . . except the NCAA would only let football players collectively negotiate with EA over their dead bodies

Florida’s NIL goes into effect in July 2021, two years before the California legislation. So, this puts tremendous pressure on the NCAA to get these items passed by Congress in the current session.

Kicking and Screaming is the right way to define it. With the various legal roadblocks monetization for the athletes is a long way away.
