Nick Rolovich Named Cal Football Assistant Head Coach and Quarterbacks Coach
Two more years for Rolo
News came late this afternoon that Senior Offensive Assistant Nick Rolovich has been retained by Cal. He has been elevated to quarterbacks coach and assistant head coach. The news was first reported by Pete Thamel, and the two year deal insures that Rolovich will be in Berkeley through the 2027 season.
Rolovich is coming off his first year at Cal, where he played a key role in the development of true freshman quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, and oversaw the team’s 38-35 win over a ranked SMU as interim head coach. Previously Rolovich served as head coach at the University of Hawaii, and Washington State. Rolovich had recently stated in multiple press conferences his interest in staying with the program.

One plea if I may be heard....get a real Special Teams Coach this round...thank you.
I like this news very much. I got my 2026 season tickets yesterday. Go Freaking Bears!
