North Texas officially moves Cal football home game to 2023

The Bears were scheduled to visit the Mean Green in 2022, but the game has now been rescheduled to Sept. 2, 2023. The change solidifies Cal’s schedule in 2022. The North Texas game looked to be the most likely game to be moved after a 2022 scheduling with Notre Dame was leaked and then announced. The Bears will play UC Davis at home, UNLV at home, and at Notre Dame for their 2022 out of conference schedule.
Really was hoping we were going to buy our way out of playing in North Texas, but I can imagine that the current environment maybe prevents us from spending money on that kind of thing.
