As much as I’d like to think it’ll be a close grinding game-It’s going to be a slaughter. Our o line is porous and forget about it when they blitz because the lack of check downs, running back picking up blocks, and the left guard allowing defenders going through on a pass play is sooooo predicable. When jared Goff got smashed everytime he saw a blitz coming, at least he had better vision and release along with 2 more yards of space for a defender to reach him. It’s going to be 52 to 6 before garbage time scores come in.
I have to say I thought we had a fighting chance against Upuppy given recent history, but we saw what happened there. Until I see a real offense and special teams display of strength, I say OSU will crush us like a bug and we won't get to roar like the Bears we are.
Now, apply that same sentiment to every game left on the schedule.
Being a fan shouldn't hurt this much.
Should we start a paper bag over the head practice?
BTW- Since this is our homecoming and and the Red River Rivalry weekend, I could not help but notice that with the Red Rivalry the party starts today using the Texas State Fairgrounds. What a great idea that might be for Cal. Want butts in seats? Make it about more than the game.
The Beavers are not practicing with loud music blaring this week because they feel there is no need. They are expecting a "dead" Memorial and very little crowd noise. And LOL with their run stuffing stud nose tackle out for the first half, maybe some Ott runs up the gut make some sense to start the game.
Well the glass is definitely half full from your perspective. I also predict a close game where maybe a made field goal is the difference. May we drink from the chalice of victory.

Ugghh.
Great.
This game makes me nervous.

Considering how bad the university is at managing alumni relations, I doubt homecoming even registers as a significant event for many people
Yeah, in 1980, the vibe I got was, "Okay, you got your damned diploma, now, fuck off."

They’ll be expecting us to rely on the strength of our offense. Better start off with three straight pass attempts.
if SJV starts throwing INTs, does that mean the QB bandwagon will now jump on the Mendoza train?
Tyler. Jensen. Clap clap clapclapclap
Well worth a try. I'm in.
