We were very recently in an alliance with Big 10 I believe. It didn't help us at all.
That was an "alliance" without any real contractual requirements to it. A Pac/ACC merger would have to come with some.
Is "loose alliance" any better?
Again, if it comes with contractual requirements, then yes.
