Bear in mind the Ducks are SUPER young. Their O-Line is effectively rookies, their QB is new and their TE position has suffered a ton of injuries. I also think young defenses take time to gel. Given all of this, I would argue the Ducks are performing at the level one would expect when factoring in a lack of practice time. They will likely continue to have an up and down year given their need for growth. But don't be surprised if they end up taking the conference but it is just as likely they choke the conf title.
Everything they do this year is about next year when they are likely the clear favorite in the conference.
Teams like Oregon and Wazzu will see our 1st down dropbacks as ways to get to the passer and I feel like that should open up the delayed draw run game not all hope is lost even though I think we should've beat OSU and I think would've gone toe to toe with UW.
We should have won the game relatively easily. That said, OSU is probably a better team than we thought. They played the Huskies tough, barely losing and then managed to make enough plays and capitalize on Cal misues to get the W. However, we still would have won (I think) had not Garbers pass on 1st and 10 at the 12 been tipped. I'm consoling myself that we may only win one or two games, but Covid has to take the brunt of the blame, not so much the coaching staff. On to next year!

You know, even though we suck, it's good to see Furd sucking too.
