I like this considering if games are canceled and certain teams line up to take their place. I would love to see us play San Jose State, I love what Coach Brennan is doing there in building that program.

Yeah. They are a good team. The problem is that we would still get no credit for a victory, but we would eat crow if we lost.

Eh it is 2020 we found a way to lose to ucla so san jose state would be par for the course but credit to them they are 4-0 for the first time since '55.

I think this is a lost season, when it comes to wins and losses or what anyone thinks. Any game we can play is just experience for next season, and the memory of this season is gone come week 1 2021.

Yeah it's worth a shot. Maybe we can still play the Horned Frogs.

Can we play them after pac12 schedule?

It's hard to say. The College Football Playoff selection committee don't seem interested in delaying the playoff, and even Commissioner Scott, who is lobbying the committee, isn't optimistic his proposal will pass.

Today's decision is intended more for make-up games during the season as teams lose games due to Covid-19 outbreaks or contact-tracing quarantines.

Yeah, I understood that too. I just hoped we could play more games and wondered if that was allowed under the new change. Had this been allowed last week, we could have played an FCS team instead of UCLA and we would be feeling a lot better right now.
