Thanks for the work that goes into these. I meant to comment on your last post that walked through your clustering strategy. Great stuff and a nice little refresher on data analysis. Can't get that on just any sports blog!
I'm hoping that Tosh will dial up our pass rush. Wilcox built a pipeline to the NFL for defensive backs. ESPN had a stat on gameday a few weeks back and Cal has the third highest number of defensive backs in the NFL, after Alabama and Michigan, which is impressive and helped contribute to our nickname of "DB U". However, this season it was apparent that we weren't generating enough pressure on the d-line, which certainly contributed to so many close games where the opponent (SMU, Louisville, NC, BC) almost came back and won. Tosh has a reputation for working with and developing great d-linemen (Cam Jordan, Tyson Alualu) so I hope that he can do it again at his alma mater. GO BEARS!!!! FOREVER!!!!
The outcome of the game was delightful indeed.

Man, we really need some skill players who can actually break tackles.
I think the announcers said we were using an extra offensive lineman for some plays? anyone know if that's true
We played one of our OL as a 2nd tight end on numerous plays. Several different formations and pre-snap looks were used.
That was a fun and successful wrinkle
Sonny Delight lol I didn’t like Sonny Dykes the bubble lady with no bubbles.
