The Good, the Bad, and the Rock Fights: Cal v. UNLV - LA Bowl Edition
This holiday season the Bears gave their fans a bowl full of rocks.
In Cal’s lone bowl game victory under Wilcox, the Bears scored 5 touchdowns. In the other three bowl games (2018 Cheez It Bowl, 2023 Independence Bowl, 2024 LA Bowl) the Bears combined to score 4 TDs. For whatever reason, these bowl games have a tendency to turn into low-scoring rockfights. Tuesday night’s glorified scrimmage at SoFi stadium was no different.
