Bookending a season full of pillow fights with another member of The Good
Welcome to this season’s final edition of The Good, The Bad, and The Rockfights, our weekly piece dedicated to categorizing and sorting Cal football games based on grades given by PFF. This season we’ve seen a little bit of The Good, a little bit of The Bad, a handful of Rockfights, and a bunch of members of our newest cluster, The Pillowfights. Friday’s game was graded quite well by PFF. Devoid of context, this looked like a moral victory: Cal hangs tough with a top-25, in-state rival and even holds a 4th quarter lead for a bit. Alas, context matters and there are no moral victories for a team that has won a single game over the last two months. Let’s have a look at our final game of the year.
