One game into the season, and PFF grades are back! For those of you who may not be familiar, here’s a primer on what these scouting grades are and are not.
And I’ll go ahead and offer my own warning regarding this week’s grades: One game, against a probably limited opponent, that saw a ton of the two deep see the field - those are a lot of elements that might lead to misleading data. For that reason, I’m going to be very cautious about drawing conclusions from week 1 info. That applies to the Auburn info we have as much as it does to Cal.
As a reminder, a grade of 60.0 is completely average and is what PFF would hand out on a play when the player isn’t given an opportunity to make an impact. Let’s get started:
