#2 is the greatest commercial ever...even though Tedford couldn't speak like that if his life depended upon it.

If I recall correctly, there was one year just before the current ad which was a diverse group of students being excited about getting their Cal ID. My main issue with that ad was how it was a bunch of freshmen who had just stepped onto campus being excited about starting college, rather than people who had already lived through at least part of it.

How did you miss “Everybody’s getting into Cal!”?!?

It was football-specific, but does anyone remember the “This year, everyone’s getting into Cal” one?

Aside from the awful "Everybody's getting into Cal" - there was an awful "Here Come the Bear!" 1995/96 era commercial under Kasser that tried to introduce a new fight song that went along with the football commerical.

AND also in the 90s, and it might have been SportsChannel or it might have been the Athletic Department, but there was one that had the tagline "So . . . how come you don't go to Cal games?"

And of course everyone answered "because they suck"

Who's domicile is still the best, and it has stuck with my friends and I since it aired. That adorable bear is a nice second. If I see that "You See Berkeley..." one more time, I'm going to just...give an exasperated sigh of disappointment.

I really liked the You See Berkeley one.

.. a decade ago.

The Our Domicile one is the type of clever marketing Cal really needs to get back to.

They haven't changed the video on the official youtube page, but I think they changed it to Wilcox for actual TV commercials. They should have just changed the whole thing though.
