We took the goalposts after a loss back in '97 I think. The Furdies thought they could poke the Bear through the cage but they ran when the fence came down.
I do remember the riot cops coming into the stands. That was a fucking ugly move by those bullies. I'm not certain which year that was, though, although I lean towards '01. The '99 Big Game featured Deltha O'Neill for us. I recall that being the big memory of that game, not the fascists.
'03 was the first year under Tedford at Stanf*rd and that year was glorious. A crowd in the old Stanf*rd Stadium that was a near sellout and a clear majority of Blue & Gold.
