I am not going to ruin this for the seniors and any players who graciously participated, even though they may be moving on. I can only say thank you for pulling out a bowl game in a season that was fated to be much less than we got. You players found the steel and made it happen. Thank you for never dying, never quitting, even when fans, such as ourselves, for the length of the season, threw out hurtful criticisms and harsh judgements. Win or lose, we love our Bears and their courage and character, on and off the field, makes us proud.
It's hard to contemplate any Cal affiliated person being "jaded" about any bowl or postseason game, given the novelty of the extraordinary accomplishment of it.
