While I agree with some of the cautious criticism, I am skeptical of the negativity. After watching Call football for 55 years, I was pleasantly surprised by the Bear's performance with so many unknown factors going into this season. Let's let the next two games give us a better vantage from which to make our analyses.

Bears outclassed in Q1? Then talent and adjustments took over.

Ok why is Evans Hall RIP-tagged? Did I miss something?

Evans Hall to be demolished in the coming years. Earthquake safety + ugly lol

Thanks, hadn’t heard. So many hours lost (invested?) in the pit. My CS1 class was the last to use punch cards

Good to be at a Cal football game again. Q1 was bad, stinky bad, after that, the team played pretty well. There is some talent and speed on both sides of the ball this year. Looking forward to watching the team gel throughout the season. The offense can be darn good, maybe cut back on those passes to the flats. Seemed like a pretty good mix of pass plays and running plays. I thought we missed quite a few tackles this game, gotta wrap up better DBs. Next game will be more revealing. Can't wait to be there! And thank you all at Write for California for making my game day experience much better.
