Overall a good game for the Bears, but obviously there is some room for improvement. My present concern is players in the transfer portal and also the risk that some of our guys opt to go to Oregon should Wilcox get the job.
My first game in person at Memorial in a while, and what fun! I got a pic with Coach Wilcox after the game. SUPER nice and friendly, just like he is on TV!!! As a kid I used to go down on the field all the time. Oddly, it seemed like a BIGGER drop NOW than when I was smaller (HAHA, remodel, lower field, HAHA?). I wish I'd seen some altercations with USC fans; I guess the Family section is not the right place to sit..... : )
I'm pulling to keep Wilcox; I love him as a coach and person, and don't want to "start over" with a new system that takes 1.5 seasons to learn, rebuilding recruiting classes after the portal sucks all the fun out of these past two classes, etc. Get a QB and RB, and let's do this thing.

After a quick look at the schedule, I'm thinking 7 wins--assuming we aren't totally rebuilding with new staff and new philosophies.
