Woodie (So.) - a former 4-star recruit - started the season as the third-string "Buck" (think: "star" or "coin") position behind RS-So Lars-Woodbey and RS-Fr Jay. Jay then focused on Free Safety for the next game, but Nasilrideen (Sr) passed Woodie on the depth chart. Lars-Woodbey went down with an injury, but still Woodie didn't move up the depth chart and was actually skipped over by Gant (So). FSU plays three more games and Woodie is still third on depth charts behind Nasilrideen and Gant. Woodie does not play much until the Duke game despite four of the games either being a blow-out win or loss. One journalist wrote that Woodie was not ready to step into the role despite injuries and depth issues. I guess Woodie disagreed
