I know that as a Houston Rockets fan and a fan of modern basketball I should be against long 2's. . . .however, that's because they're USUALLY an inefficient way to score. If you're an elite shooter from that area (say Steph, KD, Chris Paul, Demar DeRozen) then you should continue to take them.
43% . . . it's not bad. And without knock-down 3 point shooters AND without guys who can get all the way to the rim and/or fouled consistently, it's not the worst thing that it's part of the offense.
Nick, if possible, could you pull up something about foul shots generated?
Shepherd had some nice drives to the bucket, but the scoring drought in the last 5 minutes doomed us. Have to figure out a way to get Kelly the ball in the interior.
I didn’t see anyone crashing to the basket behind the double teams, which would be a nice passing option for Kelly for a quick layup & might cause teams to abandon the double team if Cal can reliably get those easy baskets.

It's unfortunate that the Bears couldn't take full advantage of Utah's injuries.
