That was a fun game to watch. It's been a long time since a Cal Bball team was this fun to watch. Great passing, unselfish play, great athletes. Go Bears!
Question is how our overall talent level stacks up. We are well-balanced and deep so I don't see glaring weaknesses for inferior teams to exploit. Hard to say if Vandy was more talented or we just had a bad game while figuring stuff out.
I'm just really happy that we rebooted our roster but didn't go through the same painful learning process as last year.
A little bit of both imo. This team is better than any team since that final Cuonzo season. But our ceiling is hard to gauge. A good showing at Mizzou would say a whole lot. But a super tough matchup.
Let’s hope that we hear more Roxy on Cal games! Wilkinson has been a revelation. This is also the first time in awhile when the opponent drives the lane they are hesitant to go to the rim. And do we have college’s version of strength in numbers?
Happy Thanksgiving, Cal fans!

So, is this team far better than we have had in recent memory?
Or has the rubber yet to meet the court?
Not sure what happened with Vandy, but I'm looking forward to this BB season.
Think we're underrated for the conference?

Agreed - I feel really good about this team’s floor but I’m not confident at all in projecting their ceiling
