Getting to tell Fubo to suck it for their overpriced service was a nice perk associated with the death the PACN. Bastards raised their prices and cut channels such as Discovery. Good for obscure sports and soccer, but pretty crappy for live TV. For those who have not quit yet, if you hit the cancel button, you will get offered discounts (twice). So if you intend on keeping it, play like your quitting to get a fat reduction on your next bill.

Only wish I had shorted Fubo. They are going to lose a big handful of customers with the demise of the PACN and their price structure.

I was interested in Fubo for a time, but then I saw that they don't have the Turner channels (TNT, TBS, TruTV), which means they don't have a large number of postseason NBA, MLB, NHL, and March Madness games. Nope!

I guess I need to track down the ACC. Network now….

Almost every major TV provider has it, including the various streaming TV services. Should be pretty easy to get.

Selfishly, the move will allow me to see MORE games in Philly as I have ESPN, ESPN+ (through the Hulu bundle) & the ACC Network. Verizon refused to deal with the Pac-12 Network BS, thus I was mostly shut out. Not to mention the Pitt game is about a 5 hour drive; piece of cake if I don't have a game to work that day.

I am in Texas so I am just glad that Cal is off the Pac 12 Network! That was horrible, hardly saw any games. I have YouTube TV which includes ESPN, ACCN - stoked! Not sure about ACC Network Extra Plus hmm... I might try to make it to the SMU game. GO BEARS!

If you have access to regular ACC Network, then you should be able to log in to the ESPN app (or website) and see the ACC Network Extra games there. Use your YouTube login to authenticate.

ESPN+ still extra $, even with the YT TV?

No, you don't need to purchase that separately if you already have a TV provider with ACC Network (as YouTubeTV is). Just log in to the ESPN app and you can see the ACCx games.

I’ll be at Wake Forest in Winston-Salem.

15 min from home ; )

I'll see you there. The DC Cal Alumni group wants to catch up with me, so we're looking to set up a tailgate or something.

It’s doable. California in NC 😂

Is the UC Davis game the only one we expect on ACC plus? I hope so.

I'm guessing the three games that potentially end up on ACC Network Extra Plus BS are the 10/12 game at Pitt, the 10/26 game against Oregon State, and the 11/16 game against Syracuse, assuming Cal and its opponent are unranked at the time of the game.

I guess Auburn preferred to play in intense heat rather than start the game early at 10:00 AM Pacific Time.

It's worth noting that when regular conference play starts, historically the games have not been stuck on ACCx. Generally that has been reserved for non-conference games against FCS teams (or the occasional G5 opponent). There are more teams in the conference now, so maybe that will mean more games get shunted to ACCx but between the various ESPN networks, ABC, CW, and regular ACC Network there will probably be enough room for the conference games.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Oregon State and Syracuse games are times when ESPN makes use of a west coast game to fill the late window (especially for OSU).

That will be very discouraging. Unless one joins another pay site to gain access, and hopefully not on telephone apps only. Thanks for your response.

If you already have access to ESPN and the ACC Network in general, then you will have access to ACCNX. Whether youre subscribed to cable, satellite, or streaming, you use that account to sign into ACCNX.

However, that will need to happen on a device with the ESPN app, so probably not your tv. You'd need to stream from a device that you can connect to your tv.. like Chromecast or connecting your laptop to it by HDMI, etc

If you already have ESPN/ACCN, you can test it out anytime to get it figured out before the season starts..

Thank you for this information, much appreciated. While I have both ESPN and the ACC sports channel, I have not searched for ACC Plus. This will be challenging for those who have television access to the Pac-12 channel.

You'll find ACCNX on the ESPN app. It will be an option inside there. You'll need a supported device to get the ESPN app.
