If nothing else Cal has the grit, the spirit, the heart, the determination to do whatever is necessary and it is epitomized for me by Giselle Maul and Mjracle Shepard. In any case they're a heckuva fun team to watch.
Excellent write-up and analysis, Nick -- as usual.
Cal definitely had a chance to win yesterday. Just couldn’t hit open shots they normally make. Sheppard had a great 1st half, drove the paint with success but no one but Maul got going with their shot after that.
Really solid breakdown here. That WAB metric angle is lowkey brilliant because it reframes the entire conversation from 'moral victories' to actuall math on tournament viability. I've been in situations where tracking negative to positive metrics made the difference in how we approached close games, and tht specific framing gives the team something concrete to chase in Feb.

Excellent analysis. Thank you.
Over 2,300 fans showed up at Haas yesterday for an 11 AM tip-off. Impressive. The Bears thrive on having vocal support in the stands.
Help the Bears down the stretch by getting your tickets for the upcoming games at Haas. And as Charmin says, "bring a freakin' friend"! Go Bears!!!

Such an improvement from prior years, GO BEARS
