Stanford has the worst defense in the conference outside of Arizona and Colorado. Can the Cal offense, led by an interim offensive staff, take advantage?
We have seen the Cal offense steadily degrading under the tutelage and direction of Messrs. Musgrave and McClure. With them gone, and no longer dragging down our performance, I expect a significant uptick in production.
Hoping for a fast start, as whichever team gets discouraged first will probably lose.
I think we'll see some more creative play calling this week to try to take advantage of some of the weaknesses you have enumerated. Of course it depends on who actually is making the calls. Get Ott in space or block at the point of attack. Throw some medium routes across the middle. Put in Millner if Plummer can't move the team in the 1st quarter.
