I was curious, and went back through 1925 (first UCLA records available), looking for how many times this happened in four separate conference games on the same day. The answer? Never. Last week, November 11, 2023, was the first time it ever happened.
I think this is just my highlight selection bias, as I probably wouldn't take a highlight clip of Daniels if he was hitting a wide open receiver in zone coverage for 20 yards.

From watching the above GIFs of Daniels, are all his positive plays against man coverage? Looks like it to my eyes.

BTW 247 has Stanford at #44 now. (Still better than Cal at 79, though our rating is impacted by having fewer overall recruits.)
