How about this: You use an animation of Brainiac shrinking and capturing the city of Kandor into a bottle. But replace Brainiac with Cal Nobel Prize winners, and of course replace Kandor with Calahassee!
These memes also have a real benefit in associating "Cal" with the University of California at Berkeley among the public outside the San Francisco Bay area, many of whom think it's Cal State or (for SGV residents and Big Bang Theory viewers) Cal Tech.
