A with cause scenario would include violations of University policies and procedures. A violation of the law would also be with cause, but I'm not sure anyone has insinuated that possibility.
If Knowlton can be shown to have violated or disregarded University policies he could be terminated with cause. He might be well advised to resign or retire well in advance of that prospect playing out, *IF* indeed it is a strong possibility.
Poor performance would, presumably, be without cause.
It’s one thing to make bad coaching hires and be out of touch with modern athletics. It’s a whole different issues to not protect the well-being of student athletes, or worse, enable someone to harm them.
fuck knowlton
Pleas show him the door.
Failure at all levels now.
Maybe the Admin will do something
Does Knowlton's contract differentiate between being fired with cause and without cause? Because this seems like a "with cause" scenario.

Knowlton is a five-star boob.
He was a dreadful hire. Just awful.
We can neither confirm or deny we’ve made a horrible mistake extending our bozo the clown of an AD. Go Bears!

Well said.
Just as long as as Jim gives mark fox a huge raise and extension through 2036 he will be fine.
He sent Jennifer to all the practices to keep an eye on things.
