Bummer. He was so bad. Good, we need the conference to be stronger. Meh, Go Bears!

Good to know that the firing threshold is a 2 td loss to Stanford.

So proud of our Cal Twitter shitposters/memelords for getting into this SFGate article: https://www.sfgate.com/collegesports/article/Fans-troll-USC-pretend-to-be-donors-16455558.php

This platform doesn't support pictures. Unfortunate because it's a perfect time to take a last look at open-mouthed Clay the Bewildered

If nothing else, if opposing fans are disappointed that you fired your head coach, you should have fired your head coach a while ago.

The Jags play the Rams on December 5th. I have a feeling Urban will not be on the return fight to Florida.

The difference between the haves and the have nots: "Helton ends his tenure as the USC head coach with a 46-24 record and 2-3 in bowl games. He also won the Pac-12 Championship & Rose Bowl in 2017, with 3 Pac-12 South Division titles in 2015, 2017, and 2020."

I'm sad to see Helton go, but I'm trying to look on the bright side: with Helton gone, they'll finally be able to hire someone even worse.

What's Buddy Teevens doing these days?

Actually out of curiosity I checked - he's head coach at Dartmouth and has a combined 26-4 record in his last 3 years.

And his replacement Walt Harris, who was even worse at furd, has been out of coaching since 2010, when he was fired from Cal U (California University in Pennsylvania) after one year as offensive coordinator.

So I think Harris is a better candidate for SC.

At what number does one drop the "just" x games in? My choice, if I were a writer, would be Five.

I guess losing to Furd was the end. Just imagine if he had lost to Cal again.

He would’ve been fired on the sidelines.
