Thanks for the great writeup! I will say, if there aren't many highlights to show of the opposing team, I would be OK with seeing some lowlights. Might cheer me up.
I usually take clips when I see exciting plays, positive or negative. Unfortunately, Wazzu isn't particularly exciting to watch. I saw plenty of times where a defensive lineman and a linebacker both missed a tackle, and an opposing RB got to the second level, but if I were to take clips every time I saw a missed tackle, I'd be doing it roughly 1 out of every 4 plays. I'll take clips of e.g. a QB making a terrible read and throwing into triple coverage for an interception, but it's a lot harder to capture the essence of Wazzu's poor defense in just a handful of plays. It's that the "missed tackle here, missed tackle here, drive extending play there" just happens so regularly.
A complete game, for all four quarters, defense and offense, and for heavens sake, special teams, playing well with consistency, that is all we ask. And a win!
As the 2nd ranked offense in the Pac 12, we should be able to triumph over the Cougs if our defense plays with the modicum of effectiveness we saw in the 2nd half against Washington. I would like to see improved red zone effectiveness on the O side of the ball.
Stone vs Will Craig, that should be an interesting confrontation to watch!!
Stone the bay area native out of Valley Christian San Jose will be a sub story to watch!

Got my tickets for the game yesterday. I'm taking my mom as well, her first game in 2 years. She'll be rooting for Cal although she is a Wazzu alum.
Tell you mom we all said Hello and Go Bears!
