The updated weather forecast has Saturday as partly cloudy, sandwiched between snow on Friday and snow showers on Sunday. A break for the Bears?

My suggestion: call many pass plays, each with the option, nee SUGGESTION, that Chase turn it upfield once the Cougs drop back into coverage. On a slick field the guy who knows which direction he's going to cut has even MORE of an advantage!!!! Go Bears!!!!

Love this and it reminds me of the days we played our Turkey Bowl on grass/mud fields, hot dang I thought I was Gale Sayers (RIP) out there as defenders slipped and slid all over trying to tackle me!! Good memories. Go Bears!!!

I imagine we will run the ball 60-65% of the time. Hopefully we'll average 5+ yards a carry and this will be an effective strategy. Probably it will be a low scoring game of the type that Cal favors with a ball control offense featuring Garbers as a game manager, rather than a guy who throws deep balls.
