The California Golden Bears (1-2) and the Washington Huskies (1-2) begin Pac-12 Conference play on Sept. 25 at Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium in Seattle.

Saturday's contest between California and Washington will be the 100th meeting between the two West Coast teams.

The two Pac-12 North teams did not meet in 2020, as the Golden Bears did not have the minimum number of scholarship players available after a defensive lineman tested positive for COVID-19.

California has won the last two games, including a 20-19 victory at Washington on Sept. 7, 2019, and a 12-10 win in Berkeley, Calif., on Oct. 27, 2018.

Despite the Golden Bears' recent successes against the Huskies, Las Vegas oddsmakers are pessimistic the away team can win three in a row. The most recent betting line was California +7.5 and a 46.5 total for over-or-under bets, as of Sept. 23.

The college football betting spread indicates California is about an eight-point underdog to Washington.
