Also with the insanity that is this year, and the shortened season, I would be only slightly more surprised if we ended up in the playoffs versus us ending up with a 2 win season
Without fans (unless the bowl game is in Florida or Texas), are the other bowls actually going to be profitable enough to be held (even with the TV money)? Maybe there will be only a smaller number of Bowls for 2020/21?
Is Cam Bynum available to play, or did he hire an agent (or do you get a pass for that this year, too)? It would be huge to have him owning the secondary.....
I have no idea. As *pure speculation*, semester schools like our start earlier than quarter-system, so I wonder if he already withdrew from courses and isn't eligible to return.
Mike Leach. You know, the guy might be an asshat, and I loved when Wilcox beat him. But I also appreciate that he's different, and that he's been good at achieving above the talent level that he has, and he's entertaining. I think it's a fun story if he has success in the SEC. He should be able to get higher rated recruits there than WSU. Speaks well of Wilcox and Cal that they have had success against Leach. And what does this say for David Shaw and Furd, that Leach takes their seemingly mediocre QB and has immediate success? Why would a highly rated QB choose Furd?
I guess this answers my question about whether there will be OTHER bowls!!! So glad. Will they all need to be pushed to after the new year??? That's ONE way to get a "better" time slot for a bowl....
Thanks for sharing that--I'm too poor for an Athletic subscription and those on staff who do have it aren't writing, so their projections probably won't ever be included in the write-ups as long as I'm handling them.

LSU would be quite the coup for the Las Vegas Bowl
