We’ll be making a simple post from the weekly press availability by Coach Wilcox, coaches, and players of their press conferences. Also, highlighting any quotes, moments, points that are of interest to the fans.

Key Notes

  • RB DeCarlos Brooks is still week-to-week

  • OLB Kuony Deng is still out for the foreseeable future

  • No other long-term injuries to report

  • Lots of development periods and time during the Bye week

  • ILB Evan Tattersall was knicked up a couple of weeks and has worked his way back to full fitness

  • Players are earning their chances not only in practice but what they do through the opportunities given to them in the game

Key Notes

  • Created an emergency grant fund through his Intercept Poverty foundation to help students on campus get over some financial roadblocks. It is intended to help students focus on school and alleviate some of the financial burdens that might occur during a school year.

  • You can donate and help out the fund and foundation here.

  • Season hasn’t gone the way they like but looking to improve every week and get the wins soon.

Key Notes

  • Tightening up the explosive plays in the passing game was a point of emphasis this past bye week

  • Seeing whatever guys can give them best opportunity to win

Key Notes

  • Younger players have flashed and are improving enough to vie for playing time.

  • Named Bastian Swinney, Mavin Anderson, Jermaine Terry, Keleki Latu, and J.Michael Sturdivant as young players that have all improved

Our goal should be to win the North to get into the Pac 12 championship game and win that game. Plenty of games left to do that and against teams that are doing well (Oregon, Oregon St., Stanford, . If we beat teams we are tied with in the North for all Pac 12 games the nod goes to Cal. But if we lose to Oregon, our chances of having a better record than them if we are tied with them go down a lot.
