This is 100% a game that Cal should win on paper, and Cal’s best chance to win for the remainder of the season (Stanford is ostensibly worse, but rivalry games are always close; plus Stanford just beat NCSU). Keep in mind, “best chance to win for the remainder of the season” now means “7-point underdog.” Yikes.

Scoreline: Cal wins 28-27
This one’s gonna be a rock fight, and not even the fun kind of rock fight. Major concern is that neither team looks very good in the 2nd half/4th quarter, so things could derail miserably for either side after halftime. Either a lot of points are scored in the 4th, or none. Regardless, I’d recommend buckling your seat belt.

Dead Cat bounce be gone. Its Halloween. Its spooky. Its a 9 AM game. NC State’s Offensive Line is porous. The game will have mistakes, the offense won’t look outstanding, but they’ll do enough to comfortably win.
I really would like to see some more beautiful passes and actual receptions from JKS to his receivers tomorrow. I just like to watch him play. Anyway, if the game is no good, I have plenty to do outside tomorrow.
Cal can reliably score between 14 and 20 points this season against ACC opponents. I don't think that will get the job done, but let's see. It could be rough, especially if the D performs as in the past 2 games. 2013 level times for the program...
