A lot of things would need to go right for Cal to have a chance, and this season has mainly been about things not going right for Cal.

Scoreline: Cal loses 17-27
SMU still has quite a bit to play for with the at large conversations right now for the CFP. I think they come out with a purpose and Cal doesn't have enough juice to consistently respond.

Any other week I'd predict a two-TD Cal loss, but I'm still riding the wave of euphoria from that Big Game win.

Thought 2. Mustangs celebrated, ate too much turkey, experience tryptophan effect throughout. Bears win close.
Thought 3. Fernando and his boys found the keys to the turbo, lap SMU and win going away.
