Undefeated so far. Defeated the first California school on the menu. Ott is well on his way to Freshman of the Year. Plummer was just a pass or two away from 300 yards, needs just 932 to hit the 1200 mark. Presumably they didn't want to totally open up the offense straight out of the gate against an FCS opponent. The What if? is on track.
Would be great if someone from W4C could line up a short interview from someone at Notre Dame who writes about them to answer the normal questions we ask of writers from Pac 12 opponents. To get that interview, the Cal writer would have to offer to reciprocate by offering to answer questions about Cal.
I have checked out ND online publications and they have a preview of their next opponent, Marshall, so I'm sure they will post one regarding Cal after this Saturday. I will be sure to post it on W4C,
Cal is a slightly below average Power 5 football team. Look for a 6-6 year including two gimme games at the beginning of the season. Jack Plummer is sloppy seconds from a slightly above average Power 5 football team.
Cal will almost certainly lose to Notre Dame, USC, and UCLA, the latter because the Bruins' QB has their number. They will probably beat UNLV and Colorado, which are genuinely awful. All the rest of the games will be very competitive. A winning season will come down to the idea of whether Oregon is as bad as they looked Saturday, whether Stanford continues to stink or gets back on the winning track and whether Arizona has made strides under the new coach.
What If...? The Pre-Season Edition
"Plummer Hail Mary" is such a delicious yet nerve wracking phrase
Whatever Kool-Aide you are drinking please pass me the motherfucking pitcher! I want some of that!!
Spot on with my inner Cal FB "hero" imagination since pre-adolescence days in Craig Morton era.
Dear Watcher, shine your light on Oski and pump that pure sunshine.
Yes, yes, one thousand times yes! 💙💛🏈

I guess I have a hobby of making suggestions.

Cal can only forestall the Arizona curse. It can never be ended.
Sunshine on my shoulder...makes me happy
