Local player Hunter is a big-bodied WR with offers from Army, Boise State, BYU, Colorado State, Idaho, Oregon State, and Washington. Ultimately the decision came down to Cal, Colorado State, and Oregon State. Per 247 he is their 31st CA and 50th WR recruit, his ranking dips once the composite rating is included (74th in CA and 126th WR).
Thursday June 30th i will be announcing my commitment @SHSCowboyFB @KSBWDrea @BrandonHuffman @adamgorney @GregBiggins @salnews @RivalsFriedman @PrepRedzoneCA @westcoastpreps_ @NorCalPreps @KasselMedia @shscowboyradio @krichardson46
The 6’2” 192lbs WR has an intriguing tape. Per SGBears:
Tall, P5-fast (unconfirmed 4.5 40-yd, 10.62 100m) A beast of a blocker. Lots of upside to his game. Impressive highlights but I found it hard to tell truly how good he is because his competition is often not very good. Lots of simple screens that he housed because of bad defense/mismatched talent.
A heartfelt welcome to the Mountain West Conference's receiving leader for the 2026 season.
So, how will the realignment affect recruiting?
