I was afraid the game was lost in the first couple of minutes with the quick fouls on Aimac and Cone. And once Aimac fouled out, it was game over. As Benson alluded to in his podcast, the offense falls apart without Aimac in the post.
What were our players thinking. They got ahead by 18 and started walking the ball up the court with 13 minutes left to play. They lost their rhythm and quit shooting or moving off the ball. And, the f'n refs gave furd 25 foul shots and we got 2 in the first 18 minutes of the first half, or something like that.
Thankfully this game didn’t really matter for any postseason bid, but it’s on the short list of one of the more disheartening losses the program has ever had.
Fix was in with the stripes as well. You could tell by the quick whistles and how long they looked at the Kennedy play.
Seriously, hoop. That was simply blatant. The ticky-tack foul on Celestine was also a putrid call. Sorry, but tonight’s game was egregious…a textbook example on how to swing a game..

Worst ending imaginable. Feel for these seniors. But they have made Cal mens basketball watchable again. Will remember this squad for that.

if they can't tell from the 5 camera angles they had, then there obviously is not undisputed evidence to overturn
