I want him bad. Maybe his shine has worn off after an inefficient sophomore year but he's got big star potential. Like Tyson, he's a tough competitor and not afraid of the spotlight.

Optimistic, but we’ll see. But at the very least it’s good to be in the conversation again. Fox was a repellant for these local kids.

He's from the Lamorinda metropolitan area so choosing St. Mary's was as local as it got for him. We're the best option for him to maintain his current situation. I know people are looking at Michigan but Dusty May is trying to rebuild a dumpster fire and may favor guys who transfer from FAU. Following an assistant coach is common but he'd specifically be giving up his family and friends watching him. Madsen himself is from Walnut Creek so would have a good reputation in the circles Aidan developed in.

Gut says he'll pick Cal but nothing is predictable these days. Twist needs to report from the scene.

All good points, and this would be real a nice get, tho really think this was made with the move to Ann Arbor in mind…if you’re gonna stay in the Bay, stay with the Gaels, which sad to say is the better program, at least currently…

Hope I am wrong.

Unless his only goal is to get paid, at which point we have a better chance (albeit Michigan is probably still favored in terms of NIL depth).

At Cal he would probably be close to the man. At Michigan, he would be one of the starters.

Michigan is going through a full restart after Howard tanked their program.

Michigan was awful last year. He'll have every opportunity to be the man at either school.

It will be a great endorsement of Madsen and the program if Mahaney makes a move to the other side of the tunnel…
