We had our chance to earn day games. Blew it 0-34. Hopefully, we will learn from the (somewhat self-imposed) drubbing and it will be a one-off. I somehow still have faith that we can make a solid season out of this. Not sure why--probably because I'm a deluded Cal fan bleeding blue and gold. I'd prefer less spilled blue and gold blood, however.
“As expected,” as a review, somehow needs to be expressed with more tone, and less dismissively, after a certain favorite was expected to win and, well, didn’t.
Or maybe the tone was there and I just missed it, and needed to read it that way.
