I found all of the commentary to be hilarious.

"...offer you greater flexibility, choice, and value." As contrasted with the state of no flexibility, the only choices being from your competitors, and zero value currently being provided.

This is going to take some getting used to. I look forward to making fun of Pac-12 teams like U$C and FUCLA. I just don't have any animosity towards these ACC teams. I suppose I need to give it time.

Reasons to hate every ACC team

Boston College - Doug Flutie's man-boosting TV commercials are annoying.

Clemson - Suing to leave ACC, suggesting adding Cal is reducing quality of league, even though we kicked their asses in 1992.

Duke - Loathed for basketball, enough so that you should hate them for football too.

Florida State - Suing ACC, explicitly accusing expansion teams as damaging quality of conference, then sucking in their first 2 games.

Georgia Tech - Shameless 222-0 pummeling of Cumberland in 1916.

Louisville - Drags down academic ranking of the entire conference. Also they think birds have teeth.

Miami - irrelevant for 20 years, thinks adding a mid-tier Pac-12 QB makes them elite.

NC State - Stupid-looking wolf on their logo.

North Carolina - Mack Brown. Also I borrowed a friends car with California plates, parked there and got a bogus parking ticket.

Pitt - Oakland is in California, not Pittsburgh.

SMU - cheating rich coke-heads.

Stanford - please

Syracuse - Having a color for a team name is stupid.

Virginia - My son had a grad school interview there. They gave him a water bottle with Virginia logo, but it was cheap and melted in the dishwasher.

Virginia Tech - Still don't know what a hokey is.

Wake Forest - Rich and snobby, like Duke but without the academic reputation.

OldSoCalBear: You are right about at least three of the teams. I will hate Florida State and Clemson for implying that adding us somehow lowers the quality of competition (God, I hope we don't shit the bed against Auburn and FSU) and of course, I hate Mack Brown (not necessarily North Carolina) because he kept us out of the Rose Bowl in 2004 (prick). However, my hatred for North Carolina is tempered somewhat by the fact that, like us, they are a public Ivy and we have managed to beat them twice already in football, a trend that I hope continues. GO BEARS!

On the contrary re rooting against UCLA and USC. I'll root for them because all those east coast sports "experts" still think the PAC12 was a weak conference.

I was rooting for SC against LSU eight days a week. The SEC needs some humble pie. That’s the bigger picture. Plus I despise B. Kelly.

I couldn’t root for U$C even if my life was on the line. Besides, you know the East coast people would just say, “this is a strong reflection of the impact being a B1G member. They have really improved.”

"There are too many teams in this conference. How am I supposed to keep up with all these OOC games?"

That's why you get paid the big bucks. hahaha

It's a full-time job at that point. I've committed to watching the ACC teams Cal will play this year, but otherwise I have no interest in watching a different ACC team vs. an FCS team any time soon.

Yeah. However I really want Mack Brown to lose every game so I watched that one against Minnesota. But I don’t have any interest in games like GA State vs. GATech.
