ASU QB Jayden Daniels is entering the transfer portal according to SunDevilSource.com, an affiliate of 247 Sports. The rising senior QB threw for over 2300 yards with 10 TDs in 2021.

The Bears are apparently a school to watch according to Chris Hummer of 247 Sports who covers the transfer portal and National CFB coverage.

This would be a huge pull for the Bears and raise the talent floor in the QB room. Daniels would also get the chance to play right away with no starter at the position cemented heading into spring ball. Daniels also has relationships with the Cal staff as he was heavily recruited under Beau Baldwin and made his final 4 schools on signing day before he chose ASU
