Cal adds Snow College WR Marquis Montgomery

Cal adds another WR to the room with a body type that has been lacking in the room and will add variety and tools befitting someone his size.
Montgomery had offers from LSU, Oregon, Penn State, and Texas A&M on top of other colleges but selected Cal at the end.
Here’s Marquis Montgomery’s announcement from earlier as the Snow College WR committed to Cal over a final group that included Texas A&M, Oregon, Penn State and LSU. A big win for the Bears landing the top available junior college recruit in the 2023 class.

As you'd expect for a 6'4" receiver, there are a bunch of back-shoulder fades. But there's enough other plays in there to see he not just some giraffe you put outside to outreach everyone. He's tall, but he can move like someone who is 3 inches shorter. Check out the hands at 1:30.
