Thank you for the article.

You can be sure Coach Madsen is flying everywhere trying to befriend and sign the highest talents possible.

To some young men & their parents, however, it does matter who can offer them the most $.

It’s absolutely wild how the process of acquiring players has changed over the past decade…for better or worse, it’s a whole new ballgame.

Jimmy. Time for you to dig deep and give a lot of $ to help the program.

Absolutely. I gave all the $ I could, all to CALegends for Men’s Basketball.

You are wonderful. Thank you for doing that. I actually don’t know if you are a student or a multi millionaire. How can this method of assembling a team last? It’s so hard on a coach to need to fly around to so many states soliciting $. Then fly around for team members who often wait hoping for a higher bidder.

Many more duties for a coach than ever before.

Again: thanks to everyone who has cared enough to donate.

I am not a current student, nor sadly a multi-millionaire…just a fan of the Bears since grammar school, over 40 years…as we saw this past season at Haas v. Stanford and USC, this fan base is truly a sleeping giant: knowledgeable, passionate and diverse. They will absolutely support the team, and good things will come.
