I think we are in for a big surprise with the O being far more explosive than it has been under Wilcox up until now. It seems like we have the horses and perhaps the catalyst in Jackson the Vth to make it happen. Cue the sunshine pumping from now til the end of August.
What will be truly interesting is if Beau Baldwin instantly cranks up that offense at Arizona State early and often. Then we would know where to lay the blame in the early Wilcox era.
He was so bad at Cal poly, I think he just lucked into a great QB at EWU and rode that wave. That was an old Bill Russell aphorism: key to being a good coach is having good players.
LOL.....I want to see what the Spav offense looks like when it's a Cal 14-7 lead in the third quarter, so likely the first game against North Texas, and Wilcox signals over to Spav he wants to turtle it in for the rest of the game and let his defense win it for him.

Cal Poly had an epicly bad record under him.
Wow, I guess the record at Cal Poly didn't scare off ASU.

Curious what Spavital thinks of Mendoza after a few practices.
