Muhammed is back and his presence keeps defenders nervous - but he's more than just a decoy, running for 235 easy yards and two TDs. The defense, invigorated at not having to spend 75% of the game running around heaving with their hands on their hips, locks down a shocked VT offense, ending most plays on first contact and registering 6 sacks. It's epic.
4 Bads in 2026, and a game against a REALLY bad FCS Wagner team. Let's hope the move to McCann will ignite the O at least a little bit. Without the O catching fire, we are looking at 4-8 and bottom dwelling the ACC with FURD. Maybe the schools that opposed the addition of Cal and Furd may have known something all along...
Great analyses, honesty. I had such hope! The “Portal” NFL Films piece has certainly blown up in our face. Without a quick and dramatic turnaround, it’s hard to envision success in ‘27 recruiting….
This season is a developing disaster. It started by NOT opening the Head Coaching position to all applicants. Lupoi is not the "savior" of Cal football which many people with low knowledge of football coaching expertise decided Lupoi was the guy because he was a Cal alum with 9 years of defensive assistant experience. There are many coaches who would have applied and some would be MORE qualified. I was a head high school and assistant college coach for 43 years and know more about coaching than some rich donors or loud mouth fans
