The concern is the defense, as they’ve let a couple of beatable teams do basically whatever they wanted to in the first 2 games, at Haas. Now sure, Kennedy’s return by early Dec (?!?) will help, as will playing more games together…plus Madsen/staff have the right to make adjustments schematically that will hopefully lead to improved efficiency. But, this type of L is troublesome in that a number of players made NO impact or showed that they are not ready to contribute. Also, Fardaws SHOULD have absolutely dominated this UOP team, especially once Makai Richards drew 2 early fouls, and he didn’t, and there remains a huge drop off in the post when he goes to the bench because Okafor is still a work in progress.
They’re absolutely better though, and this season figures to look nothing like the previous 6, which is good.
