I’m confused about the eligibility rules this year. Hypothetically, could we see Garbers play two additional years after this one?

The NCAA has granted all players an extra year of eligibility, so yes, Garners can play 2 more years after this season if he and the staff so desire and scholarship money can be allocated. Also, all of our seniors could play an additional year, although I expect all who have a chance at signing to play on Sunday will be leaving.

First of all, LOVE that clip from the end zone seats at the Big Game. Who knew the "cheap seats" would be the best in the house??

The shortened season should favor the experienced QB since there's less time (and no OOC cupcakes) for a newbie to "get their legs under them." In Chase I trust, just PLEASE stay healthy!!!

I almost wish we were starting with the Ducks so we got their rookie right out of the gate, though with UW's defense, maybe this is the best we could hope for.

Supposedly the grad transfer from Sac state is in the lead for the QB job for UW

I do feel QB is in a stronger position than we've had post-Goff. I agree Garbers is a gamer. He throws the ugliest ball I've seen from a college QB in a long time, but it gets to the right place at the right time often enough to win big games. We can't judge huddle presence, and team leadership, but he must have that as guys do step up to play better for some QB's than others. Basically, I feel QB will be a strength and not a weakness, as will the Oline, as will the RB room, with WR the area of biggest concern, though not bad. Our O should be solid. Our D might be weaker. We should win a few games, and have fun doing it. Go Bears!
